The 2012 Sydney Royal Frog & Reptile Show The organisers of the Easter Show have allocated two days in 2012. This will permit us to split the competition into two sections. Lizards in one and snakes in the other, and Frogs over both days. This split will enable more entries and more classes. THE DATES ARE TUESDAY 17TH (Lizards) & WEDNESDAY 18TH APRIL (Snakes), 2012. We are calling for all entries from ALL species & classes of frogs, lizards & non venomous snakes. We will let the numbers dictate the classes we hold a competition for. Five or more entries of the same class, and they can compete. Entry fee is $35 per animal, dropping to $25 per animal if entering 4 or more. There is one free entry to the Easter Show per person entering an animal or animals. Entries are being accepted now, and competition classes will be decided 20th March, with close of entries 10th of April (sooner if over subscribed). To enter just email us a photo (max 2mb) of your animal(s), name, and the class/species. To compete for the youth keeper prizes, please let us know that at the date of the competition you will be under 16 years of age. Don't forget that at this stage, we are accepting all species. Payment for entry will only be due on the 20th of March once you have been notified that your animal's class has made the competition. Got one of the rarer Australian classes? Contact handlers of the same, and get together 5 or more entries to form a competition.
