2010 Wild Australia Expo & Australian Frog & Reptile Show

Another very successful show with some old favourites back again, along with some exciting new elements.

Of our old favourites, John our 4 meter saltwater crocodile, the largest traveling crocodile in the world, was still as awe inspiring as ever. To be 6 centimeters away from this magnificent animal just makes you realise how powerful these creatures are.

Robo croc once again drew big crowds, as he crushed everything from old paint tins and TVs right up to car parts. When will he meet his match?

We had Super Croc, a life size model of the largest crocodile ever to walk the earth, and we had our Muttaburrasaurus walking through the crowds and entertaining all with her educational and visually impressive stage show.

Our inland swamp recreation, complete with Koala, Wallaby, Curlews, Turtles, lizards and other native animals was an amazing sanctuary within the bustle of the show.

The kids burnt off their energy on our giant dual lane slide, and had a myriad of activities to take part in, from holding, patting or cuddling an array of animals, to educational activity sheets at our Backyard Habitat displays.

Fruit bats, Tasmanian Devils, Pythons, Turtles, Frogs, Goannas, Crocodiles, Frogmouths and many more animals were on display to view, and in any cases hold. What better way to get to know these creatures, and decide if they might make a good pet for you.

Our workshops went very well, educating the patrons with valuable lessons on keeping, preserving and photographing Australia's flora and fauna.

With the wide selection of animals and merchandise for sale, you would be forgiven for making this show your once a year shopping experience for all your animal keeping supplies.

The standard of animals entered into the Best in Show competition was very high, and our judges had a hard time separating the place getters. Visit our competition page to view this year's winner.

Already we are planning how to make the next show even better, and look forward to welcoming you all back then.
