Bill Love

A world renown herpetologist, Bill Love's whole life revolves around herps. In the late 80's he opened a full-line herp dealership , Glades Herp, Inc. based in Florida .  He started leading eco-tours to Madagascar as a way to gather info on the animals he was importing . Bill's written a monthly column in REPTILES Magazine for over 16 years and freelances numerous articles in other herp publications. 

A visit in January 1994 to address the 2nd World Congress of Herpetology in Adelaide has been his only previous visit to Australia , and he's relishing his 2nd visit for the expo. Bill will be speaking on The Rise of Herpetoculture' – looking at how a ‘weird' hobby back in the 1960-1970s evolved into a huge industry today, including the people, species and events that helped it grow.
